Why startups?

It's a good question. For one thing, start-ups tend to be populated by fun, energetic people—the kind of folks we like to work with. The products and services are fresh, and hopefully, the thinking is too. But there's more. We are all about startups.

The internet offers your company a mixture of one-to-one and mass-market opportunities. Web marketing facilitates reaching a large number of people; to fine tune your marketing effectiveness, a web site from StartupFactory can provide the means to target and relate to well-defined individuals or discrete groups of customers. An important part of our interactive strategy is to ensure good targeting so that your efforts are focused on the kind of internet user most likely to become your customer. We will help identify your potential customers and conduct research into current activity in your business niche. With your help we search for buying patterns, competitor advertising campaigns and examine your existing web traffic statistics (if you already have a site) to help us build a picture of your potential customers and where and how they can and wish to be reached.

Having identified your potential customers, we will find the most effective way to reach them and work out ways that are both cost effective and lead to your web messaging being well received.

Google PPC Advertising Explained

Pay-per-click (PPC) is basically an internet marketing formula used to price online advertisements. With pay per click in search engine advertising, we would typically bid on a set of carefully assembled keywords designed to coincide with prospect searches. In a PPC ad program (Google, Bing or Yahoo AdWords) our clients would pay the agreed upon rate (based on a bidding system we will manage for you) every time an ad is clicked on. No click - no cost. Compared with the ineffective crapshoot that is print advertising, there’s no better way to get targeted traffic than through targeted keywords in combination with AdWords advertising.

Google organic search implemented with good SEO can take months to achieve a good position. With PPC you can buy your way to the top and get your site noticed.

The goal of PPC advertising is to get in front of searchers who are looking specifically for what a company has to offer. This takes careful keyword research, strategic bidding, and compelling ad copy (in just a few words) to get the click. The problem is, that's where many people stop. They make the mistake of sending that highly targeted traffic to the home page of their website. Even worse, they make no attempt to establish a connection with those that don’t buy immediately, thus missing an opportunity to begin an interactive relationship. Make a relationship that lasts with a contact form and landing page. The landing page, in conjunction with a PPC, can do everything from building your pipeline of leads to converting leads into sales. This is a great first start and managed well will result in an increase in pre-qualified traffic to your website.

Good landing page design provides pipeline building for non-ecommerce sites and sales closing for ecommerce shopping cart sites
